Children learning together at an outdoor table with community teachers
A GoJerry initiative · GoJerry Foundation

A full plate. A fair start.

GoJerry Foundation is being built to help children across Africa and Asia grow, learn, and thrive—with nutritious food, access to education, and care shaped by their own communities.

Children first. Communities leading. Child wellbeing

The thread through every program: children kept safe, treated with dignity and heard.

This page describes our purpose and planned approach—not completed impact. Imagery is illustrative.

01 · Why we exist

Potential should never depend on a child's postcode.

Hunger and barriers to learning reinforce each other. Our purpose is simple: support practical, locally guided work that helps children eat well, stay in school, and feel safe enough to imagine a bigger future.

Child-centred01

Every decision begins with children's safety, dignity, and long-term wellbeing.

Locally led02

Communities understand their needs. Our role is to listen, resource, and strengthen.

Open by design03

Clear goals, careful safeguarding, and transparent reporting before scale.

02 · Focus areas

Food and learning belong together.

The foundation's first programs will be developed around two connected essentials, with child welfare built into every partnership.

Community members serving nutritious meals to children

Nourish the day

Support school meals and community nutrition programs so children can focus, participate, and grow with the energy they need.

The thread through every program

Protect childhood, not just outcomes.

Food and education matter most when children are treated with dignity and kept safe. Safeguarding, inclusion, and local accountability will be built into the foundation's work from the start.

03 · Our approach

Start small. Learn honestly. Grow what works.

The foundation is in development. This is the operating approach we intend to use before making funding or impact claims.

  1. Listen locallyBegin with children, families, schools, and trusted community organisations.
  2. Build togetherShape practical programs with the people who will lead them every day.
  3. Fund clearlyConnect resources to defined needs, responsibilities, and safeguarding standards.
  4. Learn in publicReport progress, challenges, and lessons without exaggerating the story.
04 · Geographic focus

Africa & Asia. Local roots, shared purpose.

We want to work where trusted local partners can connect food, learning, and child welfare in ways that fit the community—not a distant template.

Africa

Community-led initiatives that strengthen school participation, everyday nutrition, and safe learning environments.

Asia

Locally designed support that helps children access meals, materials, teaching, and consistent care.

05 · Get involved

Help us build a foundation worthy of children's trust.

Partnership and giving details will be published after governance, safeguarding, and transparent reporting are in place.
